Hydrogen Peroxide (Plasma) Biological Indicator

Biological indicators are test systems containing viable microorganisms that provide a defined resistance to a specific sterilization process. A biological indicator provides information on whether the necessary conditions were met to kill a specified number of microorganisms for a given sterilization process, ensuring a high level of confidence in the process.

The 4A Plasma Biological Indicator (4APBI) is specifically designed for monitoring Hydrogen Peroxide (Plasma) sterilization processes. The final readout should be made after 24 hours of incubation at 60 +/- 2 °C.
